Our approach
We aim to publish clear instructions that help readers understand crochet problems and techniques. We prefer accurate information and useful photographs to publishing large numbers of pages.
Pattern testing
Original stitch-by-stitch patterns should be followed from start to finish before publication, with stitch totals checked and the finished item photographed. Unverified samples remain drafts.
Corrections
When a factual or instructional error is confirmed, we update the page and its last-modified date. For potentially important corrections, we add an explanatory note in the article.
Use of AI tools
Software may help with outlines or proofreading, but it does not replace independent checking, rights clearance or practical pattern testing.
Images and copyright
Site illustrations are decorative, not proof that a particular object was crocheted. For hands-on articles, real photographs should be supplied by the maker or used with explicit permission.
